DANIEL grew up in the woods of East Germany but was then schooled in Hamburg. That done, he spent a wild year of hitch-hiking and jumping trains in North America. The following stint of ambulance service triggered his thirst for adventure. This resulted in 3 years of experiencing local beliefs and extreme travel throughout Southern Africa before heading to Australia via Alaska and Fiji. Somehow, he then found himself stuck in rural South Island New Zealand. Not being able to access a market for his eclectic trade of Shiatsu and Yoga he did the only other thing he saw fit to do: he became a musician.

BHEEMA grew up in rural South Africa with his artist parents. He briefly tried being a normal human being as a computer technician in Cape Town, but the normalcy didn’t stick. He spent a few years as a monk in the Haré Krishna temple, and then started traveling on the power of thumb through all the Southern African countries while catering at outdoor music festivals and gatherings. After a bit of international travel to Brazil and India, he came to New Zealand on a 3 month holiday, which has now been going on for over 5 music-filled years.

BRADFORD (Michael) is the only token Kiwi of the group (for now at least). Living a pretty normal Kiwi lifestyle he grew up in the small town of Matamata before moving to Mount Maunganui to finish Intermediate and begin High School. There, kind of like Bheema he had ambitions of being a normal human being and becoming a computer technician too. However he soon found after completing a Diploma in the trade that he wanted as little to do with computers as possible. Then after a short stint in the full time work force he decided to migrate South in the winter of 2007 to Invercargill to begin his path in music. Since then in 2007 when he first picked up the guitar and strummed a few chords he has completed one year of guitar major and six months of piano as a part of the Certificate in Music at SIT and is currently (2011) now in his second year of a Bachelor of Music majoring in Piano at CPIT Jazz School in Christchurch. Accordion entered his life first as an impromptu part of the Nationwide Bellebird tour in which he became a part of the Handsome Gypsies and from there after acquiring one of his own has become a not-so-secret love in his life. Having played two summers with Bheema and Daniel he is looking forward to the unknown that the future holds and along with the brothers Skelm looks forward to seeing the world from a musical perspective.
